Prof. Gross completed advanced studies at the Weizmann Institute and his graduate studies in theoretical physics in the "String Theory" and a doctorate in experimental physics of high energy. He served as a research fellow in the European Center for Particle Research (CERN) and has recently led a Weizmann Institute research group in the XENON Project for dark matter search in Gran Sasso, Italy. In addition to research, he teaches in the youth activities unit of the Weizmann Institute and focuses on popularizing advanced topics in physics. Gross delivers a successful lecture series on the History of Science throughout the country. He has been a member of Odyssey Magazine since its inception. Parallel to his scientific activity he is a musician.
